Terms of Use & Sale

These Terms of Use and Sale ("Terms") govern your use of the website at cadautomationpro.com (the "Site") and your purchase of the CADAUTOMATIONPRO software ("Software") and related services from Cad Automation Pro, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Website

You may use the Site to learn about our products and services and to make purchases. You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access to it, interfering with its operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

The content of the Site (text, graphics, logos, and software demonstrations) is owned by Cad Automation Pro, LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print Site pages for your own informational use. Information on the Site, including performance figures and ROI calculator results, is provided for general information only; actual results depend on your drawings, standards, hardware, and workflow. The Site may link to third-party websites (for example, Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, and social media pages); we are not responsible for their content or practices.

2. Software Purchases and License

The Software is licensed, not sold. Your use of the Software is governed by the CADAUTOMATIONPRO End-User License Agreement ("EULA"), which is shown during installation and included with the Software. If these Terms and the EULA conflict regarding use of the Software, the EULA controls. In summary (the EULA governs):

• Each license is for one named individual user and may not be transferred to or shared with another person.
• The Software may be active on one computer at a time. You may switch computers at any time; activating on a new computer automatically deactivates the previous one.
• Licenses are a one-time (perpetual) purchase. There are no subscriptions.
• Each seat in a multi-seat plan is a separate single-user license under the EULA. A business may designate one named individual per seat, as described in the EULA.
• You must obtain and maintain your own valid Autodesk license. The Software does not include any Autodesk software.

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and may change at any time before you complete a purchase. Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, and your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms. Any support, update, training, or onboarding services included with a plan or purchased as an add-on are provided as described on the pricing page at the time of purchase and in Section 3.

Orders, payment and taxes: Online orders are processed by our reseller, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for those orders. Any applicable sales tax is calculated and collected at checkout by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Orders placed directly with Cad Automation Pro, LLC (for example, enterprise orders with a quote or invoice) may be subject to applicable taxes, which will be shown on the quote or invoice.

Hourly services such as Priority Onboarding are provided and invoiced directly by Cad Automation Pro, LLC, not through Lemon Squeezy. Invoices are due upon receipt, and any applicable sales tax will be shown on the invoice.

Free trial: You can try the Software free for 15 days before you buy. The trial runs in the app and no credit card or payment information is needed. We do not offer trials that require a card on file. Trial use is subject to the EULA. When the trial ends, the Software stops working until you purchase a license.

3. Support and Updates

Support: Most questions are answered in our FAQ and Installation Guide. If you still need help, use the contact form and choose “Support” as the topic, and we'll get back to you as soon as we reasonably can. Response times are not guaranteed and may be longer during holidays, travel, or periods of high volume. Support is provided on a best-effort basis and is not a service level agreement.

Software upgrades: “Upgrades” means new versions and feature releases of the Software. Individual plan: no software upgrades are included. Professional and Studio plans: 3 years of software upgrades from the purchase date (each Professional seat). Upgrades released after your plan’s upgrade period are not included. Your perpetual license does not expire; it keeps working with the version you purchased.

Bug fixes and security patches are not upgrades and are not promised. We do not promise that any future upgrades, bug fixes, or patches will be released. Support is provided on a best-effort basis.

Support and updates are included only as stated in the plan you purchased, as shown at the time of purchase.

4. Refund Policy (15-Day Money-Back Guarantee)

Try it free for 15 days before you buy; no credit card is needed for the trial. After you purchase, you can request a full refund of the license fee you paid within 15 days of the purchase date, for any reason, by using the contact form or email refund@cadautomationpro.com. After 15 days, all sales are final.

• To request a refund, use the contact form, choose “Refund request” as the topic, or email refund@cadautomationpro.com, and include your order number. We'll review your request and, if it's eligible under this policy, issue the refund through Lemon Squeezy to your original payment method.
• When a refund is issued, your license ends and may be deactivated, and the Software may stop working. You must stop using the Software and uninstall it from all computers.
• Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Lemon Squeezy, and Lemon Squeezy’s Buyer Terms also apply; Lemon Squeezy may issue refunds at its discretion. Processing times depend on your payment provider.
• Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law (for example, for faulty products).
• Buyers in the EU and UK agree at checkout that delivery of the digital download begins immediately and that they waive their statutory right of withdrawal once the download starts. The 15-day refund above still applies.
• Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer so we can help.
• Purchases made before this change (September 28, 2026) keep the refund terms they were sold under.

5. Professional Responsibility

The Software is a drafting aid. It is not a substitute for the judgment of a licensed professional engineer or for a code compliance review (including the NEC, NFPA 70E, UL standards, and local codes). You are solely responsible for reviewing, checking, and verifying all drawings, schedules, data, and other output before relying on or using it.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS AND LIABILITY LIMITS FOR THE SOFTWARE ARE SET OUT IN THE EULA.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CAD AUTOMATION PRO, LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID TO US DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

7. Trademarks

Requires a licensed copy, installed on the user’s computer, of AutoCAD 2018 or later for Windows, or one of these AutoCAD-based products: AutoCAD Architecture, AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD MEP, AutoCAD Map 3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD Raster Design, Civil 3D or Advance Steel (not included). No add-on toolsets are needed. Autodesk, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture, AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD MEP, AutoCAD Map 3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD Raster Design, Civil 3D, Advance Steel and DWG are registered trademarks or trademarks of Autodesk, Inc. Cad Automation Pro, LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Autodesk.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site and the Software and how we use it.

9. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or a purchase shall be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Lenawee County, Michigan, or in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of and venue in those courts.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when they were last changed. Changes apply to Site use and purchases after the updated Terms are posted; the terms that applied when you made a purchase continue to apply to that purchase.
